In Battlefield Heroes Players will be able to chose one of 3 different classes for their characters.
Each of these classes have their own strengths and weaknesses. They have their own set of weapons and abilities and each class is useful for a specific role ingame. Players will need a team various classes to be successful! Which class you play is largely a matter of personal preference.
When playing Battlefield Heroes you can pick between the following classes:

Soldiers are the durable, hardened, combat veterans. These goes know how to take a hit and how to patch themselves up in no time at all! Soldiers lack the pure firepower of the Gunners, nor do they have the sneaky abilities available to the Commandos.
Instead soldiers rely on their survivability. Lot's of power is nice, but what good does it do if your opponent fixes himself up before you manage to deliver the final blow? Oh and did we mention Soldiers can throw a barrage of grenades? Who needs big guns when you can clustergrenade? |
Also known as the boys with the big guns. Gunners come equiped with massive machine guns and rocket launchers. What they lack in survivability they make up for in brute force. These guys can take out those pesky little tanks on their own!
To boost their already impressive amount of firepower Gunners get abilities that make sure that bullets from their massive guns hit their target. They also get other skills such as exploding barrels for blowing up big metal things. Scary stuff indeed! |

Commandos are sneaky stealthy bastards. They are able to render themselves almost completely invisible. No big guns, no survivability. Sneaking up and slicing someone to pieces is the way to go for Commandos!
Alternatively they are formadible marksmen, shooting targets from a great distance. Their skills complement these masters of sneakyness such as extra damage to their first bullet, poisonous knives or the ability to vanish from sight!
